The restaurant has described itself as La Casa de las Enchiladas since 2015. Choose verde, roja or mole sauce for the enchiladas. The baked version adds melted cheese and grilled spring onions.
Three friends founded the business in 2010, and its own history ties the first restaurant to the Plaza Midwood area. The menu also reaches beyond enchiladas: alambres combine steak, bacon, peppers, onions, and melted cheese, while vegetable fajitas use zucchini, carrots, peppers, tomatoes, and onions.
Full plates are generally moderately priced, with rice and beans accompanying several preparations. Pastor adds pineapple to the pork, and fish can be ordered fried or grilled with slaw and chipotle sauce. Margaritas provide a separate reason to linger after choosing the food.
