The bar opened in April 2022, drawing inspiration from the renewed popularity of records and neighborhood gastropubs in New York and London. A David Bowie mural, Biggie wallpaper and a dedicated DJ booth carry the idea into the room. Music director Justin Aswell shapes both live sets and playlists, making the soundtrack part of the visit.
The current burger uses ribeye-and-brisket smash patties with white American cheese, grilled onion and Biggie sauce. Crispy artichokes come with green harissa aioli and fried capers; ribeye roll-ups use horseradish crema and au jus. Garlic-bread pizzas offer another sharing option, including one topped with sausage, charred broccoli, Calabrian chili and sage.
Most sandwiches and small plates are moderately priced, while the ribeye steak is a considerably larger purchase. Food service ends before the bar closes: the kitchen runs later Monday through Wednesday than Thursday through Sunday. Check that distinction before planning a late meal, and use the separate brunch menu for weekend mornings and early afternoons.
