Garrett and Jess connected over ice cream on their first date in July 2020. A new machine at home in January 2022 turned that shared enthusiasm into the beginning of a business. The unusually expressive name recalls a text sent the morning after the date, a small personal detail behind the shops' emphasis on connection and joy.
Cookies and cream has a permanent place in the cabinet under the name Can't All Be Cookie, while limited-run flavors change the selection around it. The flavor page lists current options and links to pickup pints, useful when a specific scoop is the draw. Ice-cream sandwiches and celebration cakes extend the business beyond a cone eaten in the shop.
The production space is dedicated to gluten-free ingredients, but the menu still includes distinct allergen considerations: the cookies-and-cream flavor contains soy, and some recipes use nuts. The team keeps separate scoops for nut flavors and can provide a fresh scoop or glove change on request. At the Dilworth branch, artist B_TwoKat's mural gives this approach to a shared dessert outing its own visual backdrop.
